A ticket-to-ride program
.

Where do I get my tickets?
Tickets can be purchased from the office or from your riding instructor — They MUST be purchased at the beginning of your lesson package.

I lost my tickets. How do I get a replacement?
Talk to your instructor — she will issue you replacement tickets and your previous tickets will be voided.

I forgot my ticket. Will I/ my child still be able to ride?
This is up to your instructor — in most cases arrangements can be made. Remember, you have one riding instructor but your instructor has many students and it will be difficult to remember who did not hand in a ticket the week before.

Want to take an additional lesson, how do I pay for it?
Additional lessons may be purchased from your instructor for $50.00. The ticket may be purchased at the start of your extra lesson.

I cancelled my lesson with the required 48 hour notice, can I get a makeup lesson?
Yes, you are allowed ONE makeup lesson per session. To make it more convenient for you, we are publishing a makeup schedule which will be posted on the bulletin board to the left of the office. You will now be able to schedule your own makeup lesson during any of the riding times offered. Please note that no other makeup times will be offered. A ticket from the previous block MAY NOT be used at a regularly scheduled lesson.

I cancelled my lesson with less than the required 48 hour notice, what happens to that ticket?
The ticket for the last minute cancellation will be voided. This includes no show/no call lessons. If you have extenuating circumstances, please contact your instructor. It may be possible to make other arrangements. Practice rides may be substituted for make up lessons.

Volo Farm has cancelled my lesson, do I get to make it up?
Yes, in the event that Volo Farm cancels your regularly scheduled riding time, your instructor will work with you to schedule a make-up lesson.

I am leasing my horse – do I need tickets for my lessons and practice rides too?
Yes, you should get your 8 tickets for the lesson block from your instructor. Practice rides do not require tickets, but should be scheduled.

I want to do practice rides from time to time, do I need tickets for them?
No, practice rides may be scheduled and paid for by check. Practice rides may be substituted in place of a make up lesson.

My schedule does not allow me to commit to all the lessons in the session, can I still take a lesson?
Yes, you can purchase the lesson at the individual rate of $65.

I have left over tickets from the previous session for lessons I did not take, can I use them?
You are allowed ONE makeup during each session which you can schedule on the board next to the office door.
