Volo Farm sends riders to IEA Nationals

6 individual riders and the 5-rider Middle School team from Volo Farm in Westford have qualified to represent New England in the IEA National Hunt Seat Championships. This year's Championship is being held at the Big E in Springfield, April 18-20. High School and Middle School riders from all over the country will be arriving in Springfield to participate in the event..
Representing Volo Farm and IEA Zone 1 will be riders from Carlisle, Concord, Chelmsford, Lexington, Leominster and Westford. Volo riders will be participating in both flat and over fences events.
IEA (Interscholatic Equestrian Association) is a national organization dedicated to improving instruction and competitive riding opportunities for young riders in middle and secondary school. There are currently over 1300 participating members and 140 teams in both Hunt Seat and Western events. For more information see www.rideiea.com.
